I've been writing a book for a while now. The book is still in development, but I already have the characters in mind^^
Here's the main character: Nylo, a fox in training to be a porter.

Here's a brief introduction to the world:
It's been about 100 years since the great Sonic destroyed the world. 98% of living things on Earth were wiped out. Since then, monsters have been appearing from certain sonic zones and killing everyone they see. It's unknown why this happened. There are two theories: the first, a research accident. The second, a recoil from the Big Bang.

Description:
Lume is a slender, graceful deer who, despite her blindness, radiates an extraordinary aura of beauty and serenity. Her fur is a soft brown, with lighter patches on her belly and arms that appear almost silky. Her movements are elegant, almost dance-like, as if she senses her surroundings through her hearing and the ground beneath her feet. Her eyes are always covered with a discreet white blindfold, giving her a mysterious yet dignified appearance. Her face is delicate and harmonious, with a light, peaceful smile that makes her even more appealing. She has an athletic, toned figure. Her arms are slightly muscular, showing that she trains extensively with a staff, while her stomach is flat and toned. Her hips are slightly wider, giving her a more feminine silhouette. Her upper body is accentuated by a simple white sports bra, emphasizing both her strength and femininity. The white sports bra, simple and functional, allows for freedom of movement. Wide, beige-brown combat trousers tucked into dark leather shoes, ideal for swift movement. Simple, leather, decorated with the resonance symbols of the Church of Sound. A long, dark metal quarterstaff, smooth and robust, which she wields with absolute precision. Engraved on the ends are small resonance decorations that shimmer in the light. Lume rarely speaks, and when she does, it is quietly, deliberately, and clearly. She is the embodiment of silence—her mere presence calms and inspires those around her. Although she is blind, she radiates complete self-confidence. Her perception of the world is different: she hears every vibration, every breath, every footstep. This makes her unpredictable in battle. Her beauty is not only external but also internal. She has a natural, almost saintly grace that inspires many. Men and women alike admire her, but she herself pays little attention to such things. For her, only the path of peace and the defense of the Church matter. In battle, despite the blindfold, she never seems unsure – as if she were one with the ground, the air and the sounds around her.
Background:
Lume was born in a small village near the Resonance Forest. She stood out from an early age for her gentle, almost otherworldly beauty. But her life took a tragic turn: When she was eight years old, an echo monster attacked her village. The creature's resonance wave burned her eyesight. Since then, she has lived in darkness—but never in weakness. In the years following her loss, Lume developed an extraordinary gift: She began to perceive the world not through her eyes, but through sound, vibrations, and resonances. Every breath, every rustle in the grass, every heartbeat of a living being—all of this painted a picture for her, clearer than many sighted people could ever perceive. While others pitied her, Lume practiced in silence. She sharpened her senses and found ways to assert herself in battle without eyes. Her movements became precise, almost dance-like—a combination of discipline and intuition. One day, a wandering priest of the Church of Sound discovered the young girl. He saw her training alone with a simple staff against wooden puppets, guided only by what she heard and felt. Impressed, he took her to the Church, where her gift was immediately recognized. There, she was trained in the teachings of the Church of Sound—in discipline, resonance control, and combat. It soon became apparent that Lume could hear resonances that even scholars and warriors could not detect. At 21, Lume passed the trials of the Church of Sound. Despite her blindness, she passed every challenge: dodging attacks as if she could see and defeating opponents with fluid, precise movements.
Since then, she has held the title of Paladin of the Church of Sound—one of the five chosen ones who defend the faith and protect the people. Today, Lume is 24 years old. To some, she is a saint of grace, a symbol that even the greatest weaknesses can become the greatest strength. To her enemies, however, she is an unstoppable dancer of death, moving silently and delivering every blow with a deadly resonance.
Gentle and kind to allies, almost like an older sister.
Relentless and precise in combat – she ends fights quickly and without hesitation.
She firmly believes that her blindness is a gift: "For without eyes, I see more clearly than many who can see."
