When Falcon was born, his mother and biological father were no longer together: his mother was single, and his father was engaged to another he-dragon (Falcon's future father). Since Falcon's mother was (and still is) single and not in the best financial situation, she and his biological father decided that it would be better for their son to grow up in a family with two parents (even if they were of the same sex). Despite this, Falcon grew up in a happy, loving family and saw his mother often.
At the age of 8 (my dragons consider this to be adulthood), Falcon entered college (yes, my dragons go to college) and began living in a dorm, where he met Harpy (I will draw her reference). It is no secret that at first they could not stand each other, but soon they got drunk (my dragons drink wine) and accidentally kissed, which lit a "spark" between them. Soon they began dating, and at first they hid it from their friends, but just as quickly it was revealed.
About a year later, Falcon proposed to the harpy to bind their souls (the equivalent of marriage in my setting), and she agreed. Then, completely by chance, this couple acquired two eggs, from which their children hatched — Lana and Sparrow.
