
So I've been working a lot with Shimeji lately, it had a big update recently adding in variables as an option you can do. Which can let you make the shimeji work more like a Tamagotchi in that they have stats and do different behaviors based on their stats.
I have currently made a mood checker, you click on the shimeji (location right now is on the body) and it spawns in the current mood between the 3 stats, energy, hunger, happiness. When other behaviors play, example shown the yawn behavior, it lowers a stat, in this case energy. And then if the shimeji does a different behavior it will raise the stat.
There's other ideas I'm working on for this and I'm excited for when it's finished to show it off. ^^
Also the character shown is High Forkbearer from Cookie Run Kingdom, they'll be able to transform into Doughael later once I have art for them. Plan to later rework my other Cookie Run Shimeji, Manju Cookie, to also feature this variable system. It will be a while until these are done but once they are I think they'll be fun to use. ^^
