Here is a picture that I did of my original character, a female anthropomorphic whale shark named Shelly Whaler, relaxing at a swimming pool during a warm summer day. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I was in the mood for wanting to draw a picture featuring Shelly Whaler after having the character on my mind not too long ago, especially since I haven't done any new artwork of her in a while, and I decided to take the opportunity to draw something related to summer before the season comes to an end for this year, considering the fact that the weather has actually started cooling down over where I live since late August recently, and the first idea that came to mind involved my anthro shark character keeping herself cool in some way. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Shelly hanging out in a public swimming pool setting during a summer day, to which she is able to stick both of her feet in the water, and she can be seen in a white bathing suit that she always wears, which is often covered by some denim shorts whenever she isn't doing any swimming. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a red brick texture for the wall in the background as well as a gray concrete texture for the ground, which I'll admit was not my best effort when adding detail to a background, especially due to me always focusing on drawing characters in my artwork. Other than that, this picture I've done turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
