This so brings me back, yes. Friends nerding out over things like D&D, Battletech, Starfleet Battles, and whatever sci-fi craze was in vogue back then--which Star Trek TNG very much was--and just relaxed in each other's company. In fact, I had two friends who would be occupied exactly as you show: one guy was always painting his miniatures, while the other was playing his Nintendo handheld (don't remember what it was called), while I would be kicked back, geeking out over Star Trek or Aliens or something, while we all sat around waiting for our other friends to arrive, so we could start our gaming night.

This is such a moment in time, so perfectly captured. So pure late 80s, early 90s, it almost hurts. Thanks for this awesome jaunt down memory lane, Dj. It was awesome.
