The disconnect between your hand and the drawing is definitely really weird at first but eventually it feels very second nature!! I wld recommend fiddling with the screen region/mapping settings, I have mine so that the canvas is the only area of the screen it controls, it feels like making the area of the screen closer to the size of the tablet feels way more normal to me
