I've had the idea for a Chimecho lady since before I even did art. Chimecho's been my favorite Pokemon for ages, and it's always given me a priestly vibe based on its long flowy tail, the color scheme, its supportive and restorative moveset, and the fact that you find it on top of Mt. Pyre in Gen III. A lot going for it, so I finally made one.
Now, as for the "Moon Priestess" aspect of it, that's a lot of lore I've schizowritten in my constant undocumented brainstorming sessions. Short of it is that there's four moons--all of which are religious subjects of worship--and Aida's a rather obsessive record keeper in a local observatory that works under the least important moon, Jort.
Unfortunately, I more or less have to relegate her to side character status. As much as I wanna self-design more ladies, Aida doesn't really have a place in the lore the way the six main ladies do, as with Brett and undoubtedly others to follow. What's funny is that she probably would've been a main character if I made her two years ago.
