Copeland instantly was reaching for her gun, and Marshal took in front of Devon as the van drove their way, but then the van swerved and drifted to its side and the van opened up. Copeland was ready to shoot, but what she wasn’t expecting was for the men inside to include the hooded guy from before in the wagon. He raised hands toward Copeland and she shot into the van; she hit… nothing. It was like she only hit the robe of the man and nothing else. Meanwhile, two people peered out of the van and both shot Copeland. Two pairs of cords shot into the wolfess, and she convulsed and shot as she was tased to the ground. 

“Copeland!” Marshal shouted and ran toward his sister, a mistake and a trap he fell for it. 

The hooded figure stepped back into the dark of the van and two other people came running out. As Copeland was on the tar, a pair of wolves grabbed Marshal and started dragging him to the van.
Devon just ran, she ran away from the van and for the edge of the parking lot. Then, from out of the dark, a pair of hands grabbed her. The figure came into view, holding Devon and carrying her off the ground. She flailed and tried to scream, but the figure covered her mouth.



Copeland growled and started to fight the electricity. She grabbed the cables in her and ripped them out. She wobbled to her feet, and tried to punch the figure. The thing shook a bit from the impact, but still held onto Devon. Copeland was surprised, but she tried again. She ran to grab the figure. Another one from the van stepped out. It was a rat with horns that tackled her to the ground. The rat hissed and punched her, and tried to pin her. But Copeland kept fighting, trying to keep at least one arm free as she was kicking and even tried to bite the rat. Then the rat pulled out something and stabbed Copeland in the chest. It didn’t stop her though, as the rat did that, she grabbed the collar of the rat’s clothes and headbutted it.

Getting back up, the can closed with marshal and Devon calling out, trying to get free. Copeland drew her gun as the van started to drive off, she shot several times at the van, trying to hit the car’s tail lights and wheels, but she only managed to hit one back tire, it still managed to drive off, swerving. 



“Dang it. Dang it!” She cried out and threw her gun at the ground. “I need the others.” She reached down and felt woozy. She stumbled back and looked down, trying to reach her pocket. She saw there was the thing the rat guy still stabbed into her chest, it wasn’t a knife. It was a reinforced syringe… and it was nearly empty. She pulled it out, bloody or not, and there was still liquid pouring out of it. “What?... She looked around, the rat from before just ran off. She growled, that may have been her chance for answers and it ran off. Then a sensation came over her, an urge to chase that rat, rip him apart. 

“He’d disappear…” Copeland sighed, “He’s already too far away.” 

Then, at the words, she got that feeling again, but it was far more painful. Like something in her head was about to burst. She stumbled back and pressed to a wall to stand up. She pulled out her phone and dialed the number of her friends.
