Anime Iowa 2011
A group of us locals got together to crash our local Anime con this weekend, Anime Iowa 2011. We were shocked at how well our small group of furries were received by the Anime crowd. It was definitely pleasing. Despite the occassional 'Y' word here and there we were well respected. We couldn't move a few feet without people getting out their cameras and snapping a few group photos.
We even picked up a few stragglers on our adventure
