Updated model sheet - Kyle Takamoto
Been meaning to do this for awhile. Again reinforcing that this is my actual avatar (not Cody). Also, apparently nobody wears cargo pants anymore so I had to change that on him too, meh.
[edit: I should specify *I* very much LIKE cargo pants. But they're not currently in style, or at least that's what American stores would like me to believe, sigh... I find it telling that I know four of the guys who said they wear 'em aren't from the US. US style =/= other countries. For those who disbelieve that, see: speedoes on the general public.]
So yes, this is supposed to be as close to me in fox form as possible, though bulkier in the shoulders/chest. Same age, height, facial hair, glasses...um, weight's close! And he's intended to BE me, including job and, as shown by the pencil, art!
Plus just a few notes on details. And I'll shut up now cuz there's plenty of text on the art itself.
Just reference if needed.

A pity x3 ah well. I would have been tempted to give you a stomach rub if there wasn't almost always a table in the way. x3 In hindsight perhaps that was probably a good thing.

I have to agree, from the size of your real arms and shoulders, you have 1) been working out a lot more than even we knew of and 2) out-beefed your own fursona. ^_^
He really does look remarkably like you, but then that shouldn't be surprising with your eye for detail and your familiarity with your own self. :P Also interesting to see the extra markings I never noticed before, good to point those out!

Oh, right, you've not seen me iRL for a bit. Thx, but Iunno, I still don't have enough delt, though I suppose Kyle does have some furpoof to make him look bigger. I'm pretty sure he'd look larger in more side by side photos.

They're like, everywhere! Even the cheapest ones for 20€ are pretty comfortable! And on top of that the colors aren't fancy or flashy so I can wear anything to it! I actually wore a black cargo with a fine suit and no one noticed :3

I like cargo pants... I still have the pairs I bought years ago (though in much larger sizes since I've shrunk)! Heck I bought TWO khaki cargo pants from Old Navy last year, and a nice pair of camo cargo shorts for this summer.

OMG, your upper arm looks HUGE in the inset photo! @_@ But you only seem to have a "long torso and short legs" because your white tank top is draped well below the waistline - I'm sure the proportions would look different if you tucked it in!
So Kylefox is Japanese? I've never given much thought to the ethnicity of fursonas; a lot of it is wish fulfilment and fantasy, after all, and I don't believe a fursona has to be the same ethnicity as you! :)

I always wondered why villain Tai Lung had the only "traditional" Chinese name in the movie. Po doesn't count because Chinese given names aren't usually monosyllabic (at least not traditionally). The Furious Five are named after their species (?), while Shifu means teacher. Hmm.
Obviously the Chinese are all evil!!

Ok.I know this post is like over a year old but I was flipping through your old art and had to comment on this.
Sack style. Cargo pants are awesome. Though I think they've come back since you posted this. I was hard up for finding some last year too, though I was after something sturdy that could handle work. Thus the internet is a marvelous tool! Now I have four firehose canvas cargos that come with a 'we dare you to rip them guarantee.' Let just say I've got four hundred dollars worth of free pants right now...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ok. I'll chill.
Any way. Great page! Love the layout and the effort in notation and detail. Oh and your proportions are only off by a half a head or so. Nothing your amazingly built body doesn't hide.
