The star is my boyfriend, the moth my ex and the beast is me. I call my boyfriend "my star" due to one night where my ex decided to bring someone's name up to be hurtful I cried out saying I would give J a chance. This is because he had asked me out in our 6th grade year. Me and my bf have known each other for a very long time and he has always been nothing but a sweetheart. Like my father and mother who've known each other since their 7th grade year. This month, on the 22, will be a year since my ex broke up with me. My bf and I had to deal with a lot of harassment from him. Since my ex liked months I thought it fitting to have a moth covering the beast eyes. She thinks she is "sees" something "good" but in reality, it's just an illusion. Reason why the "eye" is dead looking. What she is truly seeking is right there in the sky but she can't see that yet given the moth covering her eyes. I wanted to make something to help process what happened.
