The Towering Shnork is a huge herbivore native to the southern part of the Great Coastal Grassland. Much like the Shnorfant, this beast took the mega herbivore route on the evolutionary tree, although, instead of becoming a generalist, it specialized in becoming a high browser. With its height, it can reach foliage that most other herbivores can't reach. The drawback of this strategy is, however, twofold:
- Due to its large size, the Shnork requires an open habitat to move around freely;
- Its diet consists of something that is a rare resource in the grasslands (trees);

As a result of its particular needs, the Towering Shnork can only be found in the southern-most tip of the grasslands, where more rain falls and more trees can grow. Small herds of this species travel along the edges of small, scattered gallery forests, browsing on all accessible foliage.

It is a rare species, seldom seen by people.
