Last year I dove into the world of Chuck E Cheese to hype myself for Billy Con. Most of my childhood was spend at Showbiz Pizza at the Hackensack Commons in NJ. My first time at CEC was in 1996, it was like Showbiz Pizza, but less fun and more childish and that's because it used to be Showbiz Pizza until concept unification. The only character I gravitated to was Pasqually, but he didn't move. Many years I discovered CEC during the 70s and early 80s and....... Where was this version of CEC growing up?
The Chucky from the Pizza Time Theater days was brilliant. A New Jersey, smart ass, Cigar smoking Rat had a lot of Depth and character. I'm listening to the show tapes with him playing off Crusty the Cat, Pasqually, Harmony Howlette, Foxy, Jasper etc. It's like watching (Wise Guys)
