Mu Kedi was a prominent officer in the newly established Brand X Republic of Kenia. He was a good friend of the Matriarch of the Kedi Clan, and this led to him getting a good position when Brand X colonised their planet. However, he struggled to adapt to Brand X's cultural norms, and was imprisoned in the local Hospital after murdering a Kenian who he mistook for the Matriarch (he wanted to spare her from such a sterile life).
