Arguing here with her father. Her father also being the one who wanted Luca to be put down when Jamie broke into the lab. Mr. Lenz Senior is not an irredeemably evil bastard like Luca's father was, but he firmly chooses humans over Wolves. Definitely him who had every fetus that was inplanted into Luca destroyed, once it became clear that Luca's Apex was turning all of them into Wolves.

People who are twice the size than the average human, can't be killed by conventional means, don't get sick, live up to 200 years or longer... and want to eat ordinary humans.
Not all Wolves are nice like Luca, we got crazy murderous Wolves like Jamie... and there are some extremist Wolves who would be ok with keeping humans as cattle. Right now they wouldn't succeed since their numbers are still too low. But when the numbers start to tip, Wolves may decide they don't want to share the planet anymore.
Mr. Lenz has some pretty good reasons to be scared of them.
