These words were added after the piece was up for a while likes/ comments likely do not reflect the acceptance of the following.


An Invitation

Our traumas are our own. The only ones responsible for them are ourselves and the individuals who caused them, not the world, and not whatever "demographic" those individuals happen to be a part of.
Our pain, our confusion, our unearthed traumas (that thing nagging you in the corners of your mind that you can't point out) are being masked by our OWN unwillingness to dig deep within ourselves, uncover what this trauma truly is and what it has been doing to us.

There are those who seek to take advantage of this fact (their ultimate purpose I do not fully understand), and there are those who are unwittingly (or wittingly) doing their bidding, due to their own issues, condemning innocents, turning them into criminals simply by nature of their birth.

In truth, those who engage in this are no better than the "classical" definition of a racist, as this mentality is identical. All you have to do is change variables and the truth is evident.

And that is all that matters: TRUTH. By shutting down discussion, all we do is spiral further into delusion, until all that is left is lies disguised as "personal truth"—personal opinions—while you still feel that nagging in the back of your mind.

Some of us in search of the truth often look for answers to questions about ourselves and the world. And too often, too many of us stop at the simplest answer(s), or merely accept the answers presented to us (often as facts) simply because we want our pain (or others’) to stop. If the pain hasn't stopped, I can say with great certainty and clarity that it is because you have come to, or been given, the wrong conclusion(s).

The Path of Truth is not about finding an answer, but about refusing to stop at easy ones. It is the courage to keep asking “why?” without letting any system, identity, or conclusion chain you down.
By condemning, damning, or MURDERING, or otherwise silencing those who are simply asking "WHY?", we rob ourselves (and others) of the ability to find truth and FINALLY stop that feeling that never seems to go away.

To walk the path of truth takes courage, and this path DOES NOT EXIST OUTSIDE OF YOU!!! Any who claim otherwise are only trying to manipulate you, and use you to their own ends. And it is often those who claim to have your back that stab you in it when it's turned, and you are of no more use to them. Be cautious of the ideals, people, and things you put your trust in.


I have chosen my name because of my beliefs.

ShinTori(i): Shin (真 — truth). Tori (鳥 — bird). Torii (鳥居 — gates lining the path to spiritual places).

It is my chosen name and the path I have chosen.

I, however, am not "religious." Those of us who seek have no religion (and condemn those who would use theirs as justifications for any action—positive or negative—taken against or on behalf of another). This is also not limited to "religions"; political parties and ideologies also fall under this category to us. ANY system designed to capture human consciousness is abhorrent to us. There is only one path, and it is within you.

I implore you to take it.

Objectively, this is the only path capable of leading to peace and a truly united world that we all desire, yet can't seem to agree on how to arrive at.

The path is there, hidden within you. Don't be afraid to take the leap, though it WILL be scary. Just !!!!!METAPHORICALLY!!!!!!... close your eyes and leap. Once you do, you will look back and find the cliff was an illusion. There is no fall, just a path and a first step. From there... you have 3 choices:

1. Turn back?
2. Walk.
3. ...Fly!

I've made my choice based on the world I do not wish to see.

I do not want a world where our former friends and loved ones, even people I personally dislike, are face down/up on the ground dismembered and/or full of holes, burned, raped, enslaved. Color, sex, religion, political party... NONE of these things MATTER!

Never forget that that which you wish upon others can EASILY happen to you. YOU CAN BE KILLED. YOU can be ousted from a job, or a myriad of other horrible fates. In a future fast approaching, numbers and allegiances—what power you THINK you have—will mean little to nothing.

Also, if you think you're on the "correct side" (no matter what "side" you're on), ask yourself: How far is TOO far? For yourself? Your best friend? Your family ("found or otherwise")? When will they or you leave "your side"? Do not delude yourself into thinking it would never happen. EVERYONE has a breaking point; some are just further than others. Some have met their own points and left their side. Others of you have seen your circles... contract... and expand. This is INEVITABLE !!!!

As individuals and as a world... WE have a choice to make.

There is only ONE path. We can choose to walk it together... if you're willing to take the leap. The alternative...
