Callie has had lots of practice holding her breath. That only takes you so far and won't stop cheetah fur from showing up in sea lion poop later on, but it lets her play an occasional beach party trick like this one.
Whether he expected it or not, at least he'll have the rare opportunity to hear two preds belch after eating him, rather than just one.

Love it! Can’t get enough sea lion and seal vore, I wonder one would ever swallow a human then go for a swim only to be caught by a orca and swallowed or mated then swallowed I’m sure a bull orca would be happy to make a female seal or sea lion into a “stuffed treat” the human would be beside themself experiencing that from inside the predator
It sort of naturally comes to mind when seeing the giant mouths they always have. Their bodies are meat bags, made of, and for containing large amount of it. And the main purpose in life is to fill it and fill it and fill it, everybody's a Danaïdes on this Earth.
That's possible, but it's a fair swim to reach the limits, and if you went inland, someone might see you do it. A few people have been permanently eaten, but it's generally by dragging them out past the marker buoys before swallowing them. The preds are well aware of the limits (the buoys have underwater chirpers and flashers on top) so the most likely way this could happen is if someone had breathing gear on and they were still alive when the pred passed the buoys. It occurs to me that this is another safety feature the breathing masks need, an on screen warning that you're approaching the buoys.
