Hi guys^^
I've been writing a book for a while now. The book is still in development, but I already have the characters in mind^^
Here's the main character: Nylo, a fox in training to be a porter.
I hope you like Nylo x3
Maybe I'll publish the prologue soon. Like I said: it's still fresh and just beginning^^
The next main character is coming soon ^w^
Here's a brief introduction to the world:
It's been about 100 years since the great Sonic destroyed the world. 98% of living things on Earth were wiped out. Since then, monsters have been appearing from certain sonic zones and killing everyone they see. It's unknown why this happened. There are two theories: the first, a research accident. The second, a recoil from the Big Bang.
Name: Astrid, Vice Commandant
Gender: Female
Age: 29 (September 17, 2109)
Species: Wolf
Occupation: Vice Commandant of the Sound Warriors of the Sound Church
Description:
Astrid is a tall, powerful white she-wolf with a muscular yet feminine build. Her fur is immaculately white, her gaze penetrating yet warm. Green, slightly almond-shaped eyes give her a serious yet noble expression. She wears a white and gold open-fronted breastplate with turquoise resonance symbols, gilded shoulder plates, and a wide resonance belt that accentuates her waist. A short, asymmetrical skirt armor exposes her wide hips, while gilded greaves and heavy knight shoes underscore her steadfast warrior appearance.
On her back, she carries two large resonance swords in crossed scabbards. The blades themselves are crafted from white gold and crisscrossed with turquoise resonance lines that pulse gently in the light. Her upright stance, crossed arms, or posture with the swords on her back give her the image of an unwavering leader.
Her charisma is that of a stern yet protective big sister. She appears strong, disciplined, and loyal—a woman who dedicates her entire existence to the Sound Church.
Background:
Astrid was born a newborn and was marked by the winds of fate from her very first days. No one knows her biological parents – they were found outside the gates of the Church of Sound, wrapped in simple cloths, from which the brilliant white fur of a young she-wolf already peeped out. The priests interpreted this as a sign of Resonance itself, and so the Church took the child in, named her Astrid, and raised her as a daughter of the community.
Her childhood was marked by discipline, prayer, and the constant sound of sacred melodies echoing through the halls of the church. From an early age, she demonstrated a sharp mind and exceptional physical strength. While other children played, Astrid sought the company of the weapon masters, studied the movements of the swordsmen, and practiced for hours until her arms ached. Even as a young girl, she was known for never giving up, even when training through tears.
When she entered adolescence, the Church recognized her talent and placed her under the care of experienced warriors. There, she mastered the art of swordsmanship to perfection. She was particularly fascinated by the use of two swords, and she developed a technique that combined strength and elegance. Her instructors described her as disciplined, fearless, and filled with an inner fire that could not be extinguished. As a young woman, Astrid fought alongside the paladins in their first battles against the sect that threatened the land. Her courage and iron will to never retreat earned her the respect of her companions. While many her age were still students, she already acted as a warrior of equal standing. During these years, her personality also developed: strict with herself, protective of others, with an unwavering loyalty to the Church of Sound. In her mid-twenties, she finally achieved the rank of officer. She took over the training of young recruits, who saw her not just as a teacher, but as a kind of older sister. Under her stern but just gaze, many of them grew into capable fighters. Astrid herself lived a secluded life, devoting all her energy to the Church and always putting personal desires aside.
Today, at the age of 29, Astrid bears the title of Vice Commander of the Paladins. She is the right-hand man of General Ragar, whom she serves with unwavering loyalty. Her two resonant swords, which she always wears crossed behind her back, have become a symbol of her position. She lives solely to protect the Church and her companions, and even though she has no husband or children of her own, many within the community consider her a motherly figure—stern, strong, yet nurturing. From the gates of the Church where she was once abandoned, to the highest leadership of the Paladins, Astrid is a living example of how deeply a life can be shaped by the resonance and discipline of the Church.
