Ah well friend, The trains don't run like they used to since the US government established the 'Snake River Ashbloom Zone' Back in 1904, when they do come along the old rails they are armed to the teeth and don't take kindly to us shorter folk!
So we walk, the fancy weasels're... pricy to maintain with all that meat they eat. But it's not all bad, every den, pack and nest that's built a new array of cabins, or has found a way to cram a hundred lizards into the old town Inn, they all are happy for the help of vagrants! Those that ain't ye stay clear of. Really the only problem folk're the Tallboys comin in from the outside huntin for magical swords and the fellers with magical swords huntin for tallboys.
But that ain't our business. I did sneak a couple cans of peaches from a Tallboy camp the other day though... Bet those'll be real tasty...
"Hey Jim you see that rabbit there? Think That'll go good with peaches?"
Wanted to draw a somewhat more involved background but nothing too complicated for the Yurnic Kobolds in the 1905 "Snakelands" scenario of the curse of Yurn. Been having fun with the side project so I figured I would give it more energy
