Hi guys^^
I've been writing a book for a while now. The book is still in development, but I already have the characters in mind^^
Here's the main character: Nylo, a fox in training to be a porter.
I hope you like Nylo x3
Maybe I'll publish the prologue soon. Like I said: it's still fresh and just beginning^^
The next main character is coming soon ^w^
Here's a brief introduction to the world:
It's been about 100 years since the great Sonic destroyed the world. 98% of living things on Earth were wiped out. Since then, monsters have been appearing from certain sonic zones and killing everyone they see. It's unknown why this happened. There are two theories: the first, a research accident. The second, a recoil from the Big Bang.
Name: Lothar, The Healer
Gender: Male
Age: 41 (October 10, 2097)
Species: Horse (Halfblood)
Occupation: One of the top 5 sound warriors of the Sound Church
Description:
Lothar is a stately cold-blooded stallion with a massive, muscular build that reflects his strength and years of training. His upper body is bare, allowing his defined chest, deep abdominal muscles, and strong arms to be displayed unobstructed. His belly is covered in natural, grayish hair that emphasizes his age and maturity without diminishing his athletic appearance. His coat is dark brown with occasional lighter streaks that speak of his age. His head is particularly striking: angular, striking, yet friendly, with gentle, amber eyes that radiate warmth and calm. One ear stands alertly upright, while the other hangs loosely down—a small, charming detail that immediately endears him. His clothing is simple and functional: short, tight-fitting white trousers with gold seams that accentuate his muscular legs, and heavy, reinforced boots with resonance symbols in gold and turquoise. He wears no jewelry, but his arms and chest are marked with fine resonance lines, resembling faintly glowing scars, revealing his connection to the sacred power of sound. In one hand, he holds his resonance bell staff—an ornate yet robust tool adorned with golden ornaments and embedded crystals. In his hands, even this sacred instrument seems more like a weapon than a ritual object.
Background:
Lothar was born 41 years ago to a humble family of porters – sturdy, cold-blooded animals known for transport, carrying loads, and heavy labor. Even as a child, he helped his father pull carts, move logs, and carry burdens. His life was simple, defined by work and family. But as a newborn, his fate was already unusual: barely born when he became seriously ill and, in despair, his parents placed him outside the gates of the Sound Church. The priests took him in, healed him with the power of resonance, and saw his recovery as a sign. He remained loyal to the Church, even when he was allowed to return to his family. As a teenager, he grew up between two worlds – the simple, down-to-earth life of his family on the one hand, and the rigorous, spiritual training of the Church on the other. At 16, he finally decided to join the Church and entered as a novice. There, it quickly became apparent that he possessed a special gift for healing through resonance: gentle, supportive vibrations that strengthened bones, healed wounds, and soothed even the hearts of the suffering. At 18, he married a German shepherd from his homeland, whom he had known since childhood. Their relationship was deep-rooted, characterized by trust and mutual respect. Together they had seven children; the eldest is now 20, the youngest just 5. Despite his duties as a paladin, Lothar always remained a loving father and husband, devoting every free minute to his family. Today, at 41, Lothar is considered one of the paladins' most experienced healers. His reputation precedes him: strong as a bulwark, yet gentle as a healing hand. In battle, he is not only a support for his companions, but also their moral support—a man who inspires trust with his warm smile, his fatherly calm, and his sheer presence. He lives not for fame or glory, but for the Church, his family, and the promise he made as a child in the temple: to dedicate his life to the service of sound.
