It's likely that the entity (who I think is a trapped spirit), will show up again. Since the jewel is broken up, parts of her may reside in them. But if that's true, why is she showing up now?
Either way, I'm all for Team Hawke for saving Rush. Especially since she now knows it was all an accident.
(And as for duck-related puns, I guess they may run a-fowl with them.)

Fair point XD
I think Rush knowing the truth now might give Hawke and crew a chance to get inside her mind and get the entity out. Specially if shes showing signs of resisting the spirit. Though I doubt the spirit is going to make it easy, and thats probably before they get inside her mind. Where the real struggle will begin.

That is one of the *many* things that don't really add up. If the entity was in the jewel the whole time, why didn't she just possess Moon from the start?
Kinda makes me wonder who's actually running this whole "order" Jupiter and Moon are part of, cuz...ngl they made some *REALLY* questionable decisions.
Like why would they split apart the jewel, where its pieces are still embedded with magic by the way, across the galaxy for Moon to go on this whole "quest" in the first place? Couldn't they have just come up with a much safer alternative like locking the jewel away?
Also how tf did nobody know that the entity was in the jewel? It's established she was a sorceress like Jupiter so...wtf is going on here??? And why hasn't Jupiter just told everybody who this entity is already?
It's stuff like this that makes me think something really shady is going on. Things aren't adding up here.
Also has anyone noticed that Rush's red streak is on the wrong side???

Rush is fighting back! I knew she wasn't going to get pushed around like that! She must have more strength to be free now, since she now knows this was all a mistake. Hopefully they can save everyone else that's under the evil spirit's power, when they save Rush. (But now I wonder if her body will still be "enhanced," when she's free?)
And I don't want to sound impatient. This comic was already getting real good. And now it's getting even better. I can't wait for what comes next. (I can, actually.)
This is why I like action and adventure comics, more than slice-of-life ones. But that's only me.

So Ariel got them all in this mess in the first place, for what? To make love with a duck? Deva had a dangerous artifact in her possession and got herself and everyone else under her command screwed over. Top it all off, Rushana has been the punchline to all these jokesters.
Tricked into believing Hawke cheated on her and ran to Deva for help, only for the ditz to get her possessed by a malevolent entity that is about to find their original body and be a menace to everyone. When this is over, Ariel and Deva deserve to be vaporized.

To be fair, Ariel didn't know Rush was going to run away. And nobody knew entity until it was too late. I do agree that Ariel and Deva do need to have some accountability for their actions. But Rush let her emotions get the best of her judgement. Those negative emotions are how the spirit was able to possess her after all. Before all this started, Hawke did ask her if she loved him. But Rush wasn't really honest with her feelings at the time and told him no. Though Hawke could have paid more attention on his part.
Point is, no one seems to be entirely innocent or at fault with current situations. I do think Hawke and crew are going to rescue Rush, and I do think Ariel and Deva got some making amends to do. And I'm sure Rush is going to feel pretty bad about what she's done while she was possessed. But there's still light at the end of this tunnel, its just taken us a while to get to it and sure as hell has been one bumpy ride. But we're getting there.

On Hawke's part, I don't think he noticed Rush's "hints," because he knows her more as a "run straight forward into things" kind of girl. And it seems like her just "poking at the subject," wasn't something Hawke could truly recognize from her. This is all speculation, of course. We won't know anything about this until future pages. And it seems like it, from what I've seen with the characters already.
To add to this point, Rush has been pretty dodgy too. Hawke did ask her, and she kicked herself for not going for what she wanted all along. Then he follows up with the question again, and Rush just acts like he's not thinking clearly, since Hawke's mind is going between "male-to-female" mode. Then she runs away, after she, and all the others, were tricked. This is somewhat understandable, since they were tricked. But I still think she would've confronted Hawke on the whole thing, in the first place. Even Rush telling Hawke how she's sick of him always going for another girl, with such a bulging build, instead of noticing her, could've been better than all of this. And more importantly, he DID tell her he does notice. Right before he asked the question, that she's wanted to hear for so long. Then walked away from it. Though it's hard to say it now, considering what Rush is going through, a great deal of this is her fault. (But not being tricked, or being possessed. Nobody saw those coming. Not even Deva. Despite her grudge, she was unknowingly possessed too.)
But Rita did come in out of nowhere, and threw everything out of control, however. (That's how Ariel made HER part, in messing up all of this too.) Those two have a LOT of blame for this whole ordeal.
We'll just have to see how all of this gets resolved, in the future. Though despite all of what I just said, blame isn't pushed too hard on anyone. It all gets acknowledged from who it needs to. And it goes for the best between everyone, from there on.

Oh yeah that's for sure. Apologies are going to be made, but I doubt that will be enough to fix everything. Ariel and Rita will have to make up for the events that are playing out right now. Rush has her own apologies to make for faults in this. She was possessed, but so she'll have a little bit of leeway of some of the crew members that were put under the mind control. Though I'm pretty sure some of the current might not be as forgiving, I don't think Chica is going to take kindly to being blasted and forced into a mind-controlled army.
Not saying grudges are going to be made, but I think its safe to say that when this is resolved, trust in everyone is going to be tested a bit. Some people have more blame on them than others. But that doesn't mean everyone is going to be so quick to forgive.
That aside, we'll have to wait and see what godai and tonyg got in store for us. I'm betting that next few pages are going to be Hawke and crew finding a way to escape the dungeon and sneak into Rush's room while the entity is trying to regain its strength. I doubt the entity will make it easy for them to get inside her mind, but with Rush still in there and trying to fight back, Hawke may just have a chance break through to her and save Rush.
