“Sorry Umbra, you can’t wreck this one either,” Maple said in a sweet, but somewhat firm tone, knowing her words were going to greatly annoy the black vixen.
“Ugh! Why not?! I already found you an ENTIRE city to harvest this morning! And now you’re saying that you need to take this one too?”
“Well yes,” The red fox replied kindly, “Sadly, I need loads and loads of adornments for the upcoming shaman staffs. You know how elaborate they can be~, far more than the usual jewelry I make for the tribe.” She then gestured to Umbra's necklace, which had a tiny airliner as the pendant, with train cars along the band. “Even though I thoroughly ripped that last city apart, I still came up short-”
“Oh COME ON! So YOU get to have fun wrecking the human’s homes, and I just get to sit here and watch? Not fair!” Umbra said with a huff, crossing her arms as she looked away with a flick of her tail.
“Aww Umbra, don’t be like that! You know it’s not the same~” Maple said, trying to comfort her friend. “Oh, how about this? Once my pouches are brimming with Snakers, Flyers and a few handfuls of Colored Sands,” Maple said, referring to the tiny trains, airliners and many thousands of vehicles, “then I’ll let you wipe out whatever remains, how does that sound? Deal?”
But Umbra’s annoyed demeanor didn’t budge, as she wasn't exactly content with picking through the leftovers...
“Umm… OK and I’ll also make sure to save you all those nice tall, smooth, thick hives… We can even enjoy them together!” The red fox said, gesturing to the city's tallest skyscrapers, where most of the human population was hiding. While the tall shiny structures were pretty, they were far too crumbly to be harvested, making them useless for Maple’s jewelry creating needs. But that didn’t mean the red fox would leave the skyscrapers intact. She would often indirectly wreck many of those towering buildings, as she carelessly stomped around to collect her goods. And given that most of the trinkets she desired often didn't reside where those tallest, most impressive buildings stood, meant she would reserve that central area of the city, for squatting down and relieving herself whenever she felt the need…
But beyond smashing up the downtown core while also using it as her toilet, the fox also had another, special use for those buildings, as a way to treat herself to a well deserved break from all that harvesting. This was of course a well-known technique of the females of their tribe, as they would pleasure themselves with the human’s tall, slender structures! And Maple knew Umbra would be hard pressed to turn away such a shared intimate moment, with them both shoving those skyscrapers up their wet, needy spades, riding the buildings until they both messily squirted…
Upon hearing the offer, the black fox then felt a pang of excitement, as she was about to give in. But instead, Umbra decided to still hold firm, hoping Maple would further sweeten the deal. “And…?”
“(Sigh), Fine… And then we can both have fun peeing on the last of the survivors, as they try to desperately escape to the other remaining cities…”
Umbra's signature smirk then spread across her face. “OK, deal!” the black fox shouted happily, as she turned towards the red vixen to give her a quick little lick on the snout. Sure, the huntress wouldn’t get to rampage this city proper, but at least she’d soon be having quite a bit of fun with her best friend. After receiving a loving lick in return, Umbra then happily watched Maple get to work, as the red vixen carelessly carved a trail of destruction through a nearby suburb. She then crushed a packed shopping center under her left butt cheek, as Maple sat down next to the main train station… The red fox then happily tore that structure open, gleefully collecting the trains within, as she began to lay waste to yet another once pristine human city…

It's all about compromise to keep a healthy friendship! Those tiny human cities have their uses for the tribe, such as being harvested for jewelry, smashed for fun, or even having their populations devoured for a bit of nutrients! But those fragile little metropolises are always left completely ruined afterwards, and given that they're becoming harder and harder to find, it's important to share what little remains of the human's civilization...
And as for the humans themselves, the fact that countless of those tiny creatures perish by their actions, is barely a worry for the foxes. As far as the tribe is concerned, the purpose of the humans and their cities is to simply be a resource for them to use, like berries that grow on bushes, or herbs they pick from the ground, just another part of the natural world!
