When it comes to the concept of limbs and serpentine creatures, I find myself more on the side of 'merging' as opposed to shrinking. However, I'll admit this piece does have an interesting take on the concept. While the legs are traditional in their merging, which I would prefer, the arms are kind of fading away. Becoming a part of the magic of Dragonair. It, to me, is certainly a lot more interesting than just shrinking away, but I suppose to each their own.
What I perhaps enjoy most in this picture, however, is the lovely stretching that is taking place. A wonderful display of becoming far more serpentine and graceful than what the human body is capable of. So, I'll admit it, I would definitely embrace the air of Dragonair if given the choice. It seems like a funner form, and transformation, than I had otherwise thought.
