Purple Landscape with Wildlife and Mountains
This is an experiment. Actually, it's several experiments. I was going to make this one of those quicker drawings, where I draw the top half and then flip it to make water with reflections, but then I decided to try adding a shoreline. I also added a subtle polkadot to the most distant mountain range.
For the first time I've also put a texture on top of the finished picture, because whenever I Nightshade an image it usually ends up with weird squiggles all over it. Nightshade does that with more complex, painterly pictures, but it's invisible because of the extra detail, so I figured I'd give textures a try. What do you think?

You know, I wasn't even thinking about purple plants! I literally got home, had dinner, went onto a random colour generator web page for inspiration, got the middle purple I've used here, picked an analogous colour from each side, and went at it. But, y'know, this does serve as a pretty demonstration of that!
Gosh I once thought about making plant life on my alien world purple as a reference to retinal 😅 (heard that more likely to evolve on alien world than chlorophyll due to the “purple Earth” hypothesis and due to it being a much simpler molecule, plus it helps make things look a lot different than Earth)
Can't get enough of it!
Hey, I have a random question for you. Actually, maybe it's not so random since you might be exactly the person to ask. So, you have a deer sona and you're trans, right? Have you ever seen a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer character presented as trans-aware?
I ask because I see that bit of trivia coming up every now and again about how the deer that pull Santa's sleigh are actually all female, as they're always shown with antlers in December. Yet, Rudolph is a masculine name. Ever seen anything about that? I love nerding out about this sort of thing and also want to draw some trans!Rudy when I feel confident enough to draw furry characters.
