Art opened the door and let out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding since he climbed out of the car. The meeting could have gone better but in the end the deal was signed, despite the best efforts of Sam whom seemed like they were doing their best to spike the deal, despite the Bear having told the Possum explicitly how important it was to their family to land it.
The Bear shook his head and gave a nervous chuckle as he thought about the number of times he had to stare down his own mate, the Possum that shared his bed, to keep their temper in check every time the suit in charge of the deal made some off handed remarks about Art's skill. He could tell Sam was restraining themselves from leaping across the table and ripping the smug canine's throat out. In a twisted up way, it was cute that they wanted to defend their partners honor.
"Welcome home." Came the uncharacteristically meek voice of Kaye, Art's other partner. The bear finally looked up to see his feline mate kneeling before him dressed in a full main costume, clearly embarrassed but excited at the same time. "Master..." The last word came out like a prayer, her eyes narrowing at him though her nervous expression remained.
Art was awe struck at the scene, never in his life did he think that Kaye would do something like this. "Whoa, Kaye?" He managed to say, still stuck against the door, too nervous himself to approach.
The Cat grimaced a bit "don't make me say it again." She cutely grumbled as she forced herself to continue to look at her Bear husband.
Art rose an eyebrow and gave another nervous chuckle. "Heavens no, I would never make a good maid repeat herself." He teased as he stepped towards her. "I'm just—surprised that's all."
Now Kaye finally averted her eyes from Art and reached up to twist a stray lock of her golden hair in a nervous fidget. "Sammy said they saw you checking this costume out. Said you said you'd played with having me wear it, but didn't think I'd go for it." She paused and took a deep breath before returning to look at the bear, now with a more severe and serious expression. "Since you've been working hard to land that deal I figured you deserved a—treat."
Art stood in silence for a few moments before erupting with a deep rumbling laughter, holding his stomach as the nervousness of the surprise came out in a sudden catharsis. He got a hold of himself after a few moments and held up a paw apologetically. "Sorry, yes I did think about it, and yes you do look exceptionally cute in it. I'm grateful for the thought—"
He paused as he approached the still kneeling Kaye, bent down and placed a finger under her chin. With their muzzles almost touching, their hot beath washing over one another, the Bear smiling while the Cat almost grimaced. "I'm even more intrigued about what I might be able to order my cute maid to do in the bedchambers."
Kaye's stern look curled into a smirk as she played along with her husbands game. "Anything my strong master wants, this humble maid will do."
Art rumbled out a small chuckle before asking, "does that involved folding the laundry I did 2 days ago?"
Kaye rolled her eyes, though continued to smirk. "Don't press your luck Teddy Bear."
Figured I'd start giving a little story to go along with these pictures. Lwed, crude, or entirely vanilla. Give you some idea of the backstory and personalities of these characters
