Heater is a Va'ji, or more commonly known as a mantled beast (created by honeymoss) he has an absolut obsession with analog technology and for this reason developed a facination with analog based synthesizers, fallin in love with this, all he wants in to be an electronic artist with his interesting taste in music, and he would love to DJ for crowds.

Insperation for this is partialy my own ambitions as a person, and my own facination with audio synthesis. The name was inspired by something very out of pocket imo, it was inspired by an artist called iglooghost and particularly his album 'tidal memory exo' he describes the album as follows "The album is about oceanic scum, illegal teletext transmisions, and prehistoric trilobite angels lurking in the sewers... ...Its inspired by the big ugly brown waves smashing into the concrete seafront"

whilst listening to the album with this in mind it evoked such vivid imagery of i dont know what... but it was brutalist as all hell. it almost felt like i wasnt imagining the things themselves thatt are described in the album, but it evoked the imagery of the processes that made them so.... what it is

the imageray was large rusted hunks of metal and excavator buckets that far superceeded what any human could make with their hands, and the process that destroyed its sheen.

and i liked this, i thought it was cool

ive always had a dacination with flame, and i wondered what music might be like if it tried to evoke heat. Not heat as in all cozied up by the fire, but also not heat like a raging inferno destroying things either

when a peice of wood 'burns' it doesnt burn how you would expect it to. the wood itself thermally decomposes (pyrolisation) relesing flammable gasses, and these are what the flames you see are. I thinkk these flames are beautiful, but i wanted te music to feel like the pyrolissation process. The charring, agrid, transformation the wood goes through. like when your at a rave and have been dancing for wayyy to long and youre so, so, so tired but youre just having the best time of your life and you still cant stop dancing.

anyhooo that was basically how i got to the name heater if any of that made a semblance of sense. and i then realised after this a song that i adore and is so cute is called Heater by Samim (turn it on now, stand up and just do funky steps to it now i command you) AND the whole meme about protogens being toasters?? that totaly works with the name heater, like hes a household appliance.
