Last year, I quickly doodled a prowling snow leopard, the prey the most innocent balls of wool. That copic drawing was fairly small, only a few inches in diameter — fairly unusual for me, I like bigger formats and rarely draw small pictures. One of the ways to create big pictures would be to draw them with vectors which scale seamlessly. So I started to lay vector lines over the scan of the picture, curve gradients and fill in gaps in the inking which weren't significant on a small scale but of course would show on a bigger picture.
