The Grey Rangers

This is a group portrait I drew for a game set in the epic high fantasy world of Shaintar created by Sean Patrick Fannon, using the Savage Worlds roleplaying system. The characters were members of the Grey Rangers, a sort of all-volunteer peacekeeping force that patrolled the Freelands, a mostly wild region of Shaintar, protecting honest folk from bandits and monsters and administering justice. I can't even remember the names of most of the characters now, but as you can see, they were a diverse lot, including a female gargoyle warrior, a goblin alchemist, a baboon shaman, an elf archer, a goblin wizard, a gargoyle cleric, and a halfling sorcerer/knight. So few could stand against them they became known as Team Tarasque. It took me quite a while to draw the Shaintar 'S'.
