However, the original refs I have do have wings and I wanted to tie the difference in with some character building instead of just removing them so I used it as an opportunity to write her through some hardships that results in the scars and the loss of her wings. Canonically she could grow them back, but she keeps them to remind herself and others that scars are nothing to hide, and the things that scar sometimes give an opportunity for growth.
Artist did a great job on the sheet.
