Melon's cheeks went red as the scale's readout burst forth from the display, the platform beneath his enormous form now nothing but a bunch of broken plastic and springs.
Yet another scale had succumbed to the half-ton mound of scaly blubber that stood atop it, much to the gecko's embarrassment. He wasn't able to get a look at the scale's determination of his weight before it broke apart inside, but he was at least able to see that the needle was spinning around rapidly as he rested more and more of his weight upon it, creaking and groaning coming from it as it was mercilessly crushed.
He rested his hands on his idly gurgling gut with a big red blush on his cheeks. He really had put on weight, and a heck of a lot of it, at that...
