"Miscalculated nap"

Blubby didn't sleep well at all the previous night, getting only a couple hours of rest. For what reason, he really can't say, but it had him exhausted for a good portion of the following day. After putting up with it for a while, he figured it just wasn't happening, and went to have himself a nap, taking in a huge breath and heading into a lake. After finding a collection of large rocks that'd give him some shade, he flopped down on the lakebed in the shadow of the rocks and closed his eyes, quickly falling asleep.

A few hours later, Blubby slowly awoke from his need to breathe, stretching before getting up. He looked around to remember where he was... And noticed his tail, a good portion of it now being a darker color. As he'd been sleeping, the sun's angle had changed, getting part of the shadow off his tail and tanning it a little. A bit of frustration entered his groggy mind as the sight of it, but he knew it'd go back to normal eventually. He did at least feel better, and started walking along the bottom to get back out of the water.
