I like her. I'm having trouble putting my finger on what it is exactly, but
if I were to sit across from her on a airplane I'd want to engage her in
conversation. I'm not sure if it's the open posture (the way she holds the
container up, as opposed to in front of her), that Mona-Lisa like smile I
see as she peers half-hidden from behind those bangs, or if it just that
cute outfit. Somehow in this drawing you've created a real sense of
character. If this was the opening page to a webcomic, I'd want to read it.
Also, I want to snuggle her.

Simply wonderful!
Some artists find it hard to combine the natural, feral features of the animals they're drawing with the human characteristics required to make them sufficiently 'anthro'. Hair for example. Needless to say, you do a superb job on this front, but do you find it at all hard to take an animal as diverse and unique as a red panda, and make her look completely natural with a 'human' hairdo?

Thank you =D
Actually, I think it is more difficult to make a character look feminine *without* the humanoid female hairstyles.... I am getting better at that, though. I think I give my anthros different degrees of feral-ness (human hair vs. manes, human hand structure vs. paws, etc) depending on how much a part of human society I perceive them being. Like this girl, I could see her in a chinese restaurant serving both humans and other anthros.. Also I do like variety while I'm working =D. So I like to design characters that all look different, rather than just a cookie-cutter 'style' that I get stuck in. I am glad that you think it works well here =D. I admit I'm rather fond of this one, because I not only like red pandas, but I am also fascinated by the aesthetics of Asian cultures.
