Twokinds Mike in various styles before finding one that looks the part.
Sometimes it takes a few tries to get something right, but when you do find things working in your favor, it's OBVIOUS!
The upper two were my rough sketches of a more canon short faced Mike, with my long vixen snooted version on the right, and honestly neither looked the part... meaning close to Tom's stye, so I dove into the net again and looked at several of Tom's comic pages, and stuff he has on his Patreon, and eventually I picked Captain Jenny as a stand in for long snoot Mike.

Shoulda stared at more of Tom's stuff to being with, but lesson leaned, seek refs before going gonzo on your tablet, thinking you know better. xD
