Asteria is one of the elemental titans that came into existence after the big bang and begin the time. She and the other titans were tasked by the creator to form the worlds and realms. Asteria formed the star constellations, lay lines within each world and realm, expand the galaxy and open mortals to fantasy and imagination. When their work was done, the titans then created a place for their own elemental powers to be able to be channeled to each of the worlds and realms. Asteria created Celeste: The Circle of Stars, where Magic elementals and powers are at their strongest and all of imagination and knowledge is stored in ever expanding library.

Once the Titan's finished their work, they started to mingle with one another and created their children; the Gods. However, the leader of the titans: Chronos foresaw the Gods overthrowing them, went mad and started to devour his own children. Until Zeus (who hid away) was able to grow up, rally other gods who didn't get eaten and defeated Chronos and imprisoned him. The other Titans were furious and wanted to Chronos to be freed and attacked the Gods. While the Titans were much stronger than the gods, the gods themselves work together, teaming up and actually brought down each Titan. Most didn't give in without a fight while others surrendered. Asteria was one who surrendered and was the very last Titan to be imprisoned. She was hunted down by Hera as Zeus was stunned by her beauty and Hera was not only jealous of Asteria charming her husband, but wanted Asteria's great wisdom. Before imprisonment, Asteria gave the Gods a warning... "A day were come when heroes will take up an essence of their powers and will free them and they will deal with them as their own individual mercy will see fit!" Asteria was later imprisoned within the imagination realm, on an island full of Quail. Where she remains to this day.

It is said that a portion of Asteria's power is stored within a magical amethyst that shines like alone star in the sky, but only those who are wise beyond their age are allowed to take hold. The Amethyst maybe the key to Asteria's freedom.
