After Emil was transformed from a dog (see 575) into a raptor in 1978, his furry paws have been replaced with scaly claws. Completely unfamiliar with these new but deadly weapons, he had to adapt. His old kung fu fighting style had to be dropped and a new type of hand to hand combat developed that would bring harmony between what he currently knows and his deadly sickle claws. Emil retreated into the forests of the Midwest in the 1980s to meditate and train slowly forgoing his old identity as Emil and embracing what he is now: Sabin. The result was the raptor style round kick which would be a deadly cross slash with the sickle claw!
