I wanted to try some foreshortening when I made this, as it is not something I'm the best at. Honestly, there are plenty of flaws in this one (Namely I take issue with the wings and the mane), but I adore it regardless and it is a work I'm proud of. I might redraw it at some point.

Charlie's wings are stunted, and his kind are supposed to have bigger wings, tethering him to the ground when he is meant to fly. This honestly applies to so many aspects of my life from having the audacity to be queer in the South (USA) to daring to becoming an adult in an economy that has all odds stacked against far too many people with factors such as a hostile job market.

But it's not like stunted wings can grow. He needs to figure out how to fly regardless.

There will be art of him flying some day. I don't know how or when he will fly, I just know that he will.
