It's not really realistic to give the hairs yellow subsurface scattering, but I think it definitely helped with making everything look more warm. (x

I think yellow could actually be pretty accurate. Depends on the hair structure and whatnot, doesn't it?
But either way, its fake it til you make it, subsurface scattering looks great even on things that might not sub or surface or scatter hehe

Oh yeah, some hair definitely can go yellow in strong light! White hair as far as I know stays white though. But being accurate is boring anyway. To make the best art, you need to overcome reality. c:
