This is my fursona Charlie. He is a fata creativa - a species of fairy that every human is born with and feeds off of the energy they produce whenever focused on a creative project. There will be an entire thing about them in the future.

For Charlie's design, I wanted to capture who I am in furry form. He is named after Charlie Bucket from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which also served the inspiration for his colors and bowtie. (Well, also the fact that bowties are cute.) I took my favorite animals for his base design (cat, horse, utahraptor, and raven), and made his details on me being a digital cartoonist (his tail being reminiscent of a paint brush, his glove, and the fur pattern resembling pixels. Also the eyes.)
