The English language--and by extension any language--is so interesting. I took a basic linguistics course in ninth grade and it opened my eyes to a lot of the little things in language that go unnoticed (and taught me a slew of tricky language questions to play on people).
Also handkerchief is a portmanteau of "hand" and "kercheif", which is kinda like a bandana. Even though you blow your nose with it, its called a handkercheif, you think id be nosekercheif. That ties to the biggest thing I learned in that class: language is weird.

And yikes! I never thought the scammers would infiltrate the writing world. I didn't think it was everyday enough to make money off of. Just goes to show that if it's an industry, they'll disrupt it.
