Searchlights illuminate the skies around the ships as flak explodes in their vicinity.
The sky is red with purple hues, illuminated by the explosions and fires developing beneath, the canyon is mostly shrouded in darkness and is being lit in spots by flying tracer ammunition shot by the He 100 D-1.
