A Lovely Hypnotic Trap (STORY IN DESC)

Xena ducked under the low door, hand on her sunhat as she looked around at the ancient ruins. A little buzz in her ear as a robotic British voice spoke to her. "Your scan is getting weak. You must've reached the heart of the ruins...or forgot to charge the communicator, again." snarked her AI assistant from her little ear-piece. Her voice was a little crackly and weak, possibly from a weak signal. Xena smirked and rolled her eyes. Before her attention was drawn to the art on the walls.
She scanned over it, a look of fascination over the ancient art. "Wow." She let out in a quiet whisper of astonishment. "Oh wow she speaks. Must be some good fines down there." Teased Astra from the other side. Xena ignored her as she took a few steps forward, completely distracted as she stepped onto a plate with shifted under her weight silently. She felt the weight shift and tensed up. silently looking back and forth as she realized she might've sprung a trap.
She waited for a few simple moments before she spotted what this so called "trap" was. A blue jewel was lowered into the middle of the small room, glowing and brightening up the room. Xena raised an arm up to block it before...nothing happened? She looked around and saw nothing coming, just a glowing jewel in front of her. Curiosity began to set in as she lowered her arm and looked at the jewel.
Immediately, this was a mistake as a sense of relaxation fell over Xena as she stared into the blue jewel, idly swaying side to side. She opened her mouth, but found the words getting caught in her throat. It was a very beautiful jewel, pristine like a diamond and a deep blue like a fine ocean. Xena's arms fell to her side as the relaxation truly set in. She took a soft, simple breath as her legs felt weak.
The jewels swaying began to pick up and Xena's eyes locked on and followed it back and forth. The glow washed over her body as she began to smile. The jewel was so pretty and she was the one who found it. As she continue to fall into the Jewels trance, Astra's voice chimed in. "You haven't moved in a few moments, are you that captivated by some cave paintings?"
Xena felt a part of herself wanting to reply. To plead for any kind of help. But that thought quickly vanished in the blue glow encompassing her mind. Her legs began to shake as she barely felt any drive to stand up. Her mouth fell into a blissful smile as she began to feel peace. Her mind fell completely silent as her legs finally gave out and she fell to her knees silently and gracefully. The Jewel never leaving the center of her gaze, the world around her vanishing from her thoughts.
The pressure plate beneath her shifted again as it slowly sunk downwards, deeper into the temple as Astra's voice was heard over the ear-piece one last time. "Xena? Answer me! Are you okay? Your signs show relaxation...Are you entranced?! Snap out of it you bloke!" Her AIs voice full of concern and panic. But it did nothing to deter Xena's trance as she sunk deeper into trance, and was taken deeper into the temple for an unknown fate....
And Scene. Here's the commission I got from a random YCH on Bluesky. Picked Xena and I love how it came out. Xena's been one of my favorite OCs lately, especially with the creation of Astra. So I hope you all enjoy :).
