The guitar is 100% synth; Cabinet/Reverb-Free Electric Guitar from the NI Komplete 7 collection in combination with NI Guitar Rig 4 + some processing from Vienna Suite.

Lots of automation on the modulation & rig parameters, though: Tone, Pickup, Noise, Wah (+ other FX).

Emotions are my inspiration; if I manage to 'enclose' a tiny amount of those in the music I write, I'm happy with the result, no matter what it sounds like and how popular it gets.

One thing that the mumorpugers have ruined, other than my gelatinous, heaving wretch of a social life, if the word 'Epic.' I do thank you for keeping the true definition alive. There was a tremendous breadth of instruments here. Anything that includes, and prominently features at one point or another, piano, full-stringed symphony orchestra, choral accompaniment and electric guitar is aces in my book. That's why I own copies of pretty much everything the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has ever done. Excellent work.
