Alright everyone, who would have guessed that anything would come again from this account! This piece is very special to me. I got it from Oneyros via a Patreon reward among others. Even though these pieces I plan to upload in the Notes of the Naturalist series, this one deserves its own spot as a prominent beginning. I do not know what drove Oney really that day to go 300% out but the result does speak for itself. The loose, sketch like render of Solyr plays magic on his scales coupled with this gorgeously dynamic pose midflight in a blizzard among the mountains of his lair. The play on color on his underbelly is something that I outright adore, giving him a whole new appearance that I even once pondered to keep permanently.
Despite being a quote on quote sketch this piece is one of my absolute favorites <3 Thank you so much Oney for having made this for me!
