I tried in vain to make her room not look like a dentist's office but everything I tried only made it look more like a dentist's office. I wonder what this says about my psychology, lol.

I have questions, but that is neat. Man, I forget you can do some good sci fi stuff too when you try it.
Also on the dentist office, maybe it's just my personal experience, but it looks less like a dentist office and more like a waiting room for a psychologist. Which makes this scene 57% funnier if you think of it this way.

The idea while commissioning this was that the woman is doing maintenance, but the robot is also affectionate or in any case wants to make it known it appreciates being taken care of. So the woman is like "no, you goofball, i'm trying to work on you here, stop distracting me!".

where she's get it from?
Is it like one of those robot dog toys from the 2000s but more advance?
What else can it do?
Is that leather or flesh inside with all the mechanical parts?
Is having flying squirrel syndrome because something got left unzipped or does it look like that normal?
It is probably a good sign I have all these questions because I am genuinely curious.

I mostly tend to commission images of her where she ends up showcasing the fact she is a robot in some way, because otherwise she is basically just a big wolf lady 😅

Unfortunately most people see it as "well she must be a zombie" or "this is body horror!" which... uhm... uh... i have no clue how to avoid. When talking to artists we usually crack jokes and make all sorts of silly stuff but it always ends up with people saying "nah, this is horror!"

I think it looks good, but I also think I see what you're talking about. For what it's worth, dentists don't use the kind of sectional where the corner is only useful if you're sprawled.
In any case, I think it'd go a long way toward "fixing" the vibe if there were an area rug under the sectional. Maybe some personal framed photo in front of the plant?

I'm late to the party on this one but hopefully some helpful suggestions, one or more should do:
-Throw pillows, messily folded blanket that's obviously off color from the couch.
-Remote sticking out of the top between the backrest couch cushions (I do this, keeps it where I can easily find it)
-Ditch the plant, put another remote there, something fiddily, a bowl of snacks with a few crumbs on the table.
-Waiting rooms have super large, non descript pictures that take up whole wall surfaces, break that up with smaller more personal photos in frames, pictures of people or groups, -not- landscapes. Add a post-it for extra homey touch.
-The hint of a coffee table, or better a foot rest/cushion. I can't recall what these are called but I'm sure you know the type.
Hopefully that will help make it look less sanitized, otherwise, dang good work :}
