With this one tossed out finally, I decided to kinda...downsize the Planet Eater. He's no longer planet sized, but around 1 kilometer or more tall-taller than the tallest building on Earth at the moment, Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai. His alt-mode is a energy mining dreadnought ship, with the gigantic pincers and yapping maw (located on his chest) used to dig into the planet.

Small backstory:

"Eons ago, there was a race of biomechanical aliens called Quintessons-power-hungry, greedy, agressive aliens who spread out from their homeworld, seeking out other planets which they can drain of their natural resources before their own planet dies out. During their quest they ran into Cybertronians, and were soundly defeated by much larger and advanced mechanical lifeforms. However, Quintessons were impressed by the Cybertronians' ability to adapt to their surroundings by transforming, and wanted to get their hands on that technology. During one of their surprise attacks they managed to capture few of the Cybertronians and dissected them, hoping to find out how do these machines work. After doing some research, they turned all resources they had, including what's left on Quintessa, to build a gigantic Transformer of their own, which they will use to plunder all other planets of the resources. They gave it the ability to transform into a dreadnought spaceship, and named it Unicron- "Chaos Bringer" in Quintessonian language. Since their own planet was on last of it's resources, every last Quintessonian was put into stasis and sent out Unicron to search for anything that might bring their planet back to life before it's too late. However, Unicron turned on it's masters-Quintessa was his first target, as he drained it from the last bits of resources it had and turned it into a barren husk, killing entire Quintesson race in process. Afterwards, he turned his attention to the stars, beginning his never-ending feast."
