Hektor has undergone a transformation in both his appearance and his backstory, yet he remains a loyal member of the WindScar Crew, led by Robert Bartholomew.
As a necromancer, he wields forbidden magic that, over time, has begun to corrupt him. Practicing such spells without belonging to a cult makes him an "unmarked mage," a dangerous condition that leaves him vulnerable to the influences of spirits and creatures from other planes.
Due to his misadventures, Hektor has succumbed to these forces. Though he still retains his consciousness, his sanity shows clear signs of deterioration. Only his unconditional love for Robert seems to keep him controlled. The question, however, lingers: how long will he be able to preserve his true essence?
