My last post mentioned Lupin ruins so I might as well show the current state of their kind. As you can tell, not a very lively bunch anymore.
Lupin were the first race to exist in my setting, they were pre-god awakening and pre-magick but good enough with alchemy it might as well have been a proto-magick. Sadly, we'll never really know their secrets due to the limited amount of writing that survived from their time and the difficulty in translating it.
Ancient Hedrith was actually of a much warmer climate but when the Lupin shamans foresaw a great ice age, they decided to create a potion that would allow them to hibernate past the danger. That was the plan at least....In reality it "put them to sleep", turning their cities into mass graves. Only in the current era in my setting are they "waking up" but they are husks of what they had once been, drones that patrol the ruins of their once great cities.
