Remember when I said that the last re-upload I submitted featuring them would be the end of Sebastian and Cederic's adventures, at least out of all of the art pieces that have already been illustrated? Well, turns out I tricked all of you because this one still exists, which I definitely didn't mention on account of the fact that I was hiding it from everyone, and not because I completely forgot about it! While this image does still catalog more of their interactions, it's drawn by a different artist and isn't necessarily a direct sequel of the other ones unless you want it to be.
This particular drawing was brought to life by the fantastic Exagono16 on DeviantArt (https://www.deviantart.com/exagono16), and was commissioned by
RodonEndwell! Featuring my horse, Sebastian, and his kobold/wolf paladin, Cederic, who have both taken a leave of absence from connecting with each other through unconventional means and are instead cruising through town like a couple of normal people. Or, well, animals! Or maybe not normal animals because normal animals can't talk. I can't reeeeally remember what exactly inspired this one other than the fact that it seemed funny to envision a horse riding another creature like a person, when they're normally the ones getting ridden! An atypical role reversal, indeed.
Sebastian and Cederic get along quite well, and have been travelling together for some time! However, it seems that they've encountered a cruel twist of fate: they've stumbled across a town that doesn't allow horse riding! Wonder how that law came about? Perhaps they think of it as animal cruelty, or maybe every horse can actually talk like Seb can and it's seen as dehumanizing. Luckily, the duo has a way to get around this: instead of having Cederic ride Sebastian around, Sebastian uses his ability to walk upright to mount and ride the winter lupine instead! The horse is riding, but there is still no horse riding. Semantics!
... Not that Sebastian would want to be ridden in the first place, anyway.
Oh, also, the rabbit with the :3 face is the true main character of the image, just FYI.
