Haven't played it myself, but I have heard the gameplay is good. From playthroughs I've seen, it's like they took the stuff from Sly 3 but scaled it back some. Keeps the gameplay from getting cluttered like it felt in the third.
But dude... Penelope! She made a top ten list for a reason! I could understand it if they'd hypnotized her somehow, but there was no indication of that. They really dropped the ball there. Not to mention Sly and Carmelita...
