Rei's Got an ungodly amount of Magical Potential but his skills with actually using it are actually very limited.
To quote his magic Teacher Hexxer: "You've got the magical capacity of a Grad mage and yet you got the aptitude of a mossfern...In short Jack all!"
However there is one thing this kick happy wolf is good at...and thats fighting...So he managed to learn a single spell. a Spell that allows him to turn shadows into armor and weapons...and His preferred "weapon of choice is a pair of steel clad boots. almost weightless to him and even boost his speed but when they land a hit on an opponent they feel the full weight of hardened steel and leather slamming into them.
It should also be noted that while Rei has little control of his magic when he uses it his entire body goes completely white (it reverts to normal...mostly after he stops using it)
When he gets serious you better watch out!
